Jeeva Dhara Chartiable Trust is founded with the intention of serving the poor and the needy people. The various activities of the trust are segregated into:
Helping the poor people in Government Hospital Alathur
We have been helping the poor patients in Government Hospital Alathur for the last four years by providing them with free afternoon meal. This facility is also extended to relatives and friends who would accompany the patient to the hospital and stay with them and nurse the patients.
"School of Jeevaprakasham"- A special school for mentally challenged students
Jeeva Dhara Chartiable Trust has been conducting a special school titled “Jeeva prakasham” for the mentally challenged students. This school is situated at Gandhi unction near to which our present trust office is functioning. We have also a vehicle in which we would transport the students from their home to our school free of cost. The objective of this school is to make the students contribute positively to the society.
"Jeevalayam"- Old age home for elder people
Jeeva Dhara Chartiable Trust have a special home for elder people or old aged people titled “Jeevalayam” where we would provide encouraging and conductive environment for elderly people by meeting their needs and demands. We make every effort to make the stay of the beneficiaries special.
Afternoon meal scheme for special School
We have been giving an afternoon meal to all students studying at Perumkulam Theeram school on all working days.This school is also for mentally challenged students.
Other activities
We have been helping the needy people with monthly income and this scheme has benefitted many patients who need dialysis .The scheme has been also extended to patients who has met with fatal accidents and who has been confined to bed for long time. The monthly income varies between 250 INR to 5000 INR.
